Born in Dimapur, Nagaland, Gulnaz completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) in Sociology and Criminology from NEF Law College, Gauhati University, and her LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from Alliance University, Bangalore. She began her legal career before the District and Sessions Court, Dimapur, before moving to New Delhi in 2022. She was associated with Bhullar Law Firm from April 2022 to April 2024, where she handled matters relating to White Collar Crimes, Criminal Litigation, and PMLA. She later worked at JLJ Law Offices under the Special Public Prosecutor for the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Senior Panel Counsel for the SFIO, IBBI, and the Union of India, while also assisting an Advocate-on-Record before the Supreme Court of India.
